WHAT IS JDTA JDTA stands for Job, Duty, Task, Analysis Involves: Skills Management Team Enlisted Technical Leader(ETL) Subject Matter Experts(SMEs) Instructional Systems Specialist (ISS)
Purpose of JDTA • Identify day to day duties and task that go into an NEC • Identify training gaps • Validate the tasks that are required for a NEC • Serves as base for curriculum reviews/College Credit/Navy Cool • Used to build learning objectives that will be used for developing content and testing material • Occurs every 3 years
