  6. Optical Linear Encoders • GS212 GS212 is linear bearing scale based on optical principle. It offers resolutions down to 0.1, with repeat accuracy of one count. It possesses IP54 rating. This compact design helps in easy mounting in congested spaces.   7. Magnetic Linear Encoders • Magnetic Tape Magnetic Tapes consists of an extruded plastic impregnated with Barium Ferrite glued to a stainless steel tape using a special type of glue. This stainless steel tape provides the rigidity to the magnetic tape. MDE22 enclosure is designed like an enclosed shaft encoders allowing for very easy installation in applications.
