  3. Description. • Rocky Mountain National Park is a huge area that preserves the undeveloped wilderness of the Rocky Mountains. It contains about 265,000 acres with only a few roads and no hotels, motels, shops, houses or commercial structures. This park is made for people who wish to appreciate the natural beauty of the mountains without all of the commercial tourist attractions.

  4. Location. • Rocky Mountain National Park is situated about 75 miles northwest of Denver, Colorado. • Colorado is in Southwest of the United States.

  5. Plan your visit. • This National Park is open 24 hours a day, 12 months of the year. Pets are allowed only in campgrounds, picnic areas and along road sides. • Getting there If you want to go by airplane, you will arrive at Denver International Airport If you want to go by car you should follow these directions: Via U.S. routes 34, 36 from the east through Estes Park, Colorado and from I-70 and U.S. Rt. 40. to U.S. Rt.34 through Granby and Grand Lake, And by Public TransportationAmtrak at Granby, then via a private shuttle service to the park.

  6. Attractions. • The major attractions in Rocky Mountain Park are hiking, backpacking, fishing, horseback riding, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, mountain climbing and sightseeing.

  7. Opinion. • I think that you have to go there because you can see all that is in the area and enjoy it. You will learn and see more than you could ever imagine. • Rocky Mountain National Park is a good place to relax and have fun with your family. Don’t waste your time in other places or countries.
