  5. 5 Things Every Arizonan Must Do • 5 Things - Individual Self-Assessment • For each category, rate yourself either A, B, or C. • Which category is the easiest or most familiar to me? • Which category is the most challenging or difficult to me? Why?

  6. Civic Engagement Think Tank • How well do people in our community live up to this category? What are the special opportunities and challenges for our community? • Brainstorm resources, suggestions, actions that individuals and groups can undertake to increase civic engagement within the assigned category. • Create a poster listing several actions that community members can take to increase the community’s civic engagement capacity for this category.

Civic EngagementAction Planning • Individual Planning Activity Compare your lowest ranked categories (from the individual assessment) to the recommendations from the groups that presented on that topic. • Which of these suggestions are you willing or able to take on? Can you think of other ideas? • Write at least one or two actions that you can commit to on your personal “Civic Engagement Action Plan”.
