  3. GRAPHIC DESIGN • The main function of graphic design is to convey a message in a striking manner. • Graphic design deals with the more commercial side of art – advertising, printing, promotional work. • What is wrong with this slide???

  4. GRAPHIC DESIGN – Exercise 1 • START COLLECTING IMAGES to build a visual diary, such as LOGOS, SYMBOLS, SIGNS for the first step in creating your movie poster for your animation.

  7. GRAPHIC DESIGN – Exercise 2 • Find examples for each corresponding elements of design and create your own elements of design logo. • Explain the importance of the elements of design in graphic design.

  8. GRAPHIC DESIGN – Images, signs and symbols • An image is something visual. It can be any picture, illustration, photograph, design, sign or symbol.
