  6. ISSUES TO CONSIDER IN PERFORMANCE ASSESMENT TASK 1. Single focused tasks : include tying a shoe, solving an equation, reading a story with expression, calibrating a piece of science equipment, measuring a distance, running a mile, or shooting a basket from the free-throw line. This single focus implies that the tasks is restricted to that tasks alone. 2. Multiply focused tasks : encompass a variety of relate tasks that work together to complete a large action like solving a problem, making a decision, or developing a position about a complex issue. In such multiply focused. Tasks, student may have to decide what precise method needs to be employed, or what the final product should look like, or how they will get the necessary information to determine an answer. 8. STRENGHT & LIMITATION OF PERFORMANCE ASSESMENT  Strengths : performance assessments offer a clear and direct way to assess what students know and can do within a variety of realistic contexts.  Limitations: performance assessment take a great deal of time to construct, complete, and score.
