  13. Stroke-to-Video Scan Conversion • Delta’s SSC family of stroke-to-video products sample the XYZ vector outputs of a random deflection device (such as radar, sonar, HUD, or spectrum analyzer) and converts the information to a standard video raster format. This enables storage and recording of the signal using standard TV cassette recorders. Additionally, it allows the converted stroke/vector signal to be viewed using low cost, off-the-shelf TV monitors. The video signals can be transmitted using standard video cabling or microwave transmission.

  15. Video-to-Video Scan Conversion • Delta’s video-to-video technology provides the capability to convert between video signal formats in order to facilitate display or recording. Using an advanced scaling algorithm, multi-tap filtering, and horizontal and vertical interpolation, these products provide high quality conversion to/from RS-343, RS-170, PAL, STANAG, and xVGA video formats. OEM modules, rack mount, rugged, or custom packages are available.

  17. DBRITE Video Compression for ATC • National program in conjunction with the FAA to provide remote air traffic control video • DBRITE Video Compression (DVC) System designed specifically for this application under FAA supervision • Provides transmission of DBRITE video from TRACON to remote airport towers • Cost effective replacement for wide-band Television Microwave Links (TMLs) • Eliminates susceptibility to severe weather • Low cost makes DVC affordable for most satellite airports
