Time Warner Cable, the parent company of News 8 Austin, partnered with Waco and Killeen Crime Stoppers to put Central Texas fugitive information on demand. "We can put fugitives in, we can put crime re-enactions in, we can put crime scene footage in," Waco Crime Stoppers Coordinator Officer Steven Dieterich said. "Perhaps somebody breaks in and robs a store, and we have the footage, but we don't know who it is, we can load it up. Time Warner people can watch it.“ The video clips will feature anonymous hotline numbers for tipsters.
