  2. Discussion • For elderly care we need more camera surveillance. • Standard surveillance cameras are cheaper, more easy to maintain and will be accepted faster then `social robots’.

Discussion • The iCat Workshop is useful for my work and should be repeated every year and be organized by different community members. • To stimulate further research on iCat we need a competition, similar to the model used by Robocup. • The iCat brings together technical and human-factors research, needed for breakthroughs in the adaptive human-robot interaction. • Speech technology lacks the maturity for adequate elderly-iCat communication and professional applications in the next 5 years
