  2. T T 4 Training For Trainers Session 5

  3. The Purpose of T4T is to Train Trainers!

  4. Introduction to T4T Session 5 By Session 5, each Generation 0 (G0) Team member should have started a new G1 T4T Group The G1 T4T Team Meetings should be approximately 2 to 3 weeks behind the G0 Meetings As the Initial Team Leader for the new G1 T4T team, you can use the materials taught in your G0 team meetings. Be Alert to those in your G1 team that may become leader(s)

  5. Session 5: 1. How are You Doing?

  6. 2. Let’s Worship Be silent for a few minutes and think about what Christ has gone through to provide you with freedom from the penalty of your sins and from the power of sin. Being Abandoned Being Disappointed Being Rejected Being Falsely Accused Being Executed as a common criminal Being Abused Having the sins of the World put on Him Being Tortured

  7. 3. Accountability for Session #5 How many were in your G1 meeting this past week? Ask Each; Where and when did you conduct your G1 meeting this week? Share how your G1 Team is taking on the likeness of a church; worship, practices the ordinances, understands stewardship, prays for each other, etc. Who looks like they may become leaders in your G1 Team?

  8. 4. Vision Casting Where there is no vision, the people perish. Proverbs 29:18 Vision without action is a daydream. Action without vision is a nightmare.

  9. Proverbs 16:3

  10. Faith is to believe what we do not see: the reverse of this faith is to see what we believe

  11. These people are perishing for lack of our Vision!

  12. 5. Brief Discipleship Lesson Prayer What is it and How to Do it

  13. What is Prayer? Communicating (talking) with Your Higher Power - God

  14. Who Can Pray and Expect to be Heard? Christians, Believers in Jesus Christ, will be heard. Non-Believers in Jesus will only be heard with a Prayer of Confession and Repentance (request to become a Christian) An example will Follow We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, God listens to him. John 9:31

  15. What is the correct Posture for prayer? There is no correct or certain posture for prayer. In the Bible people prayed on their knees (1 Kings 8:54), bowing (Exodus 4:31), on their faces before God (2 Chronicles 20:18; Matthew 26:39), and standing (1 Kings 8:22). You may pray with your eyes opened or closed, quietly or out loud—however you are most comfortable and least distracted.

  16. What is the Best Environment for Effective Prayer? Personal Prayer should be in a quiet place with no distractions Community Prayer should be Reverent, Serious, Humble,

  17. Why Should You Pray? Prayer Develops Our Relationship and Maintains our Fellowship with Your Higher Power - God. If we never speak to our spouse or friend and never listen to anything they might have to say to us, our fellowship ship will quickly deteriorate. It is the same way with God. Prayer—communicating with God—helps us grow closer and more intimately connected with God.

  18. When to Pray Start your day with Prayer. When New Circumstances Require His help. Anytime You are Reminded to Pray.

  19. What If You Do Not Know How to Pray? The Holy Spirit will help you in prayer when you don't know how to pray. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will. Romans 8:26-27

  20. Types of Prayer 1. Confession and Repentance 2. Praise and Adoration Personal 3. Thanksgiving and Gratitude 4. Petition, Requests 5. Intercession For Others Any Mix or All of the Above

  21. What Do We Do When We Sin After becoming a Christian?

  22. GOD 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 (which restores our Fellowship) When We Become a Christian, We are RELATED to GOD as His child and We enjoy Fellowship with Him just like ideal Parents and their Children relate and fellowship with each other If we sin we break our Fellowship but not our Relationship RELATIONSHIP FELLOWSHIP

  23. Re-arrange the team into smaller groups of 2 to 3 members 6. Practice Each should continue to Add names to their list and Review their Story Discuss why we should have a vision for the salvation of the lost world Briefly pray for each other, the ones on your list and for all T4T team members Why should we pray? Have them discuss how prayer helps them. Have the team members share their witnessing experiences this past week.

  24. 7. Goal Setting for Session 5 Circle more names on your list and tell them your story this next week.
