KEY ROLE IN THE ORGANIZATION • As Group CFO of Hira Group & Director –Finance of GPIL, oversees the group’s business planning, budgeting, corporate finance, accounts, taxation, treasury, legal, M&A Strategy & regulatory compliances • New Project Financing & Investor relations • Director of various Group Companies

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS • More than 25 years of experience in the area of corporate finance, accounts, tax, legal & M&A • Raising funds thru IPO in 1986 for Meltech Alloys at the beginning of the career • Raising funds thru IPO for Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd in 2006 ( Rs. 70 Cr) • Raised funds thru QIP in 2007-08 for GPIL ( Rs. 100 Cr) and were among first five companies in India to raise funds thru QIP • Fund raising for various projects implemented in group during 2005 to till date at competitive terms

MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS • First company to achieve financial closure of 50 MW Solar Thermal Power Plant for Rs. 570 Crores • Raising funds thru ECB for new projects at competitive rates ( USD 15 Mn in 2007-08 & USD 60 Mn in 2011-12) • Ensuring steady cash flow of the group irrespective of industry cycle • Recognized as ‘ Best Clustor’ in CG/MP for outstanding collections while working with Reliance Communications Ltd
