  3. Objective: • All four wheels off the floor • Supported safely with 4 Jack Stands • Level Front to Rear and Level Side to Side • Without damaging any vehicle components

  4. Level Front to Backand Side to Side

  5. Why? • Tire Rotations • Lube Jobs • Oil Changes

  6. Vehicle Preparation • Clear Floor • Park Brake “Off” • Shift Lever In “N”

  7. Clear Floor

  8. Jack Stand Use • Solid part of Vehicle • Vehicle Part must be Horizontal • Stands Equal Height

  9. Equal Height???

  10. Jack Stand Features • Self adjusting • Caution: Pinch hazard

  11. Floor Jack Use • Storage • Lift pad • Raise & Lower

  15. Lifting the Front • Entire front in one lift if possible • If not possible . . . Do one side at a time

  21. Lowering in Reverse order

  22. Store Floor Jack in proper place

  23. Store Jack Stands in Tool Room
