  1. Potential Winter Storm Late Wednesday and Thursday • The possibilities: • A track along the coast means that a major winter storm will impact the Mid-Atlantic. Significant snow and/or ice accumulations would occur and travel will be very dangerous during this time. • A track out to sea means that wintry precipitation (if any) will be light. • Latest guidance overnight and early this morning has trended toward a track along the coast, the forecast has also been trended toward this solution. However, there is still some uncertainty as some guidance continues to suggest the storm goes out to sea. Stay tuned to the latest forecasts for updates regarding this system. • What we know now: • Coastal low pressure will develop off the Southeast coast late Wednesday • The storm passes to our east Thursday. Wintry precipitation is likely late Wednesday and Thursday. • What we don’t know yet: • The exact track and intensity. • How much wintry precipitation and exact precipitation types.
