  1. Rhea by Chelsea Gangadeen • Rhea, the daughter of Gaia and Uranus, was a goddess of the Titans. Rhea was believed to come from Crete. Rhea was the goddess of fertility. She represented motherhood, the flow of generations, and time. She was identified with the Anatolian mother goddess Kybele, who was depicted as a matronly woman wearing a turret crown and attended by lions. • Her only flaw was that she put up with her husband Coronus eating her children for too long. Rhea was daring and crafty. She was the fertile mother goddess. Her husband Coronas influenced her actions the most. Her husband kept eating her children therefore Rhea decided to fool Coronas into thinking the stone was the last born Zeus so she could save him. Overall, Rhea was looked at to be very beautiful and motherly
