  2. The history of our school • Our school was established in 1994 • Our school continues the activity of the belarussian gymnasium which acted in Vilnius 25 years ago from 1919 to1944

  3. Teachers and students • Teachers • Educators altogether- 32 • Males- 5 Females- 27 • Students • Altogether students- 182 • 1-4 grades– 58 • 5-10grades • – 91 • 11-12 grades– • 33

  4. Our school is located in Vilnius. In 1997 our school received Prancishk Skorina's name, he was a famous philosopher,the first printer, poet and humanist. He is the first human, who printed Bible in Eastern Europe, in 1517. In our city Skorina published two books: "The Apostle" and "Small roadside booklet."

  5. Symbol of our school – the sun and the moon. It was Skorina’s symbol.

  6. Our school has held many events and festivals: • The 1st of September - the first day of school, the new school year. • The 1st of February - the day school (the birthday of school) As well as New Year, Christmas, Graduation, Teacher's Day and more ...

  7. In February, our school celebrates one of the funniest rejoicings of our school, the rejoicing is called "100 days before the exams“. In this day students of grade 12 dress up as small children, and other students congratulate them.Students from Grade 11 feed them gruel , the all pupils of the school come to look at it. In the evening there is a discoat our school.

  9. OUR UNIQUENESS • In Lithuania there is only one Belarussian gymnasium. • Our school is surrounded by nature. • Our school has got a good rating among the schools of Vilnius.
