  3. INTRODUCTION Did you know that you can sell digital items on Shopify? According to popular belief, you can sell digital products on Shopify. Digital products are ones that cannot be touched, tasted, or handled and can only be seen. They include audiobooks, music, videos, and other media. 1

  4. Download A Digital Downloads App Using the Shopify Digital Downloads tool, you may add digital assets such as songs, movies, and graphic art as products to your store. When a customer purchases a product that contains a digital file, they are emailed a link to the file. 2

  9. Set a download limit You may verify your digital files and set a download limit on the Product Page in the Digital Downloads App. A download cap limits the number of times a client may download a digital product. By default, all versions are set to unlimited. 7

  10. Steps: From the Digital Downloads app, choose the digital product for which you want to limit the number of downloads. Click Fulfilment next to the variant you want to change. In the download limit field, deselect Unlimited downloads and enter the maximum number of downloads your client is authorized for this resource. If you put 2, the customer will be able to download the file twice. Apply. Save the file. 8
