SPATIAL COMMUNICATION • Intimate Distance up to 18 inches • Personal Distance 18 inches -4 feet • Social Distance 4 feet-12 feet • Public Distance 12 feet- 25 feet • Norms: expected behavior established by an individual, society or culture. When a norm is broken, the message is confused or ignored.
