  2. PDS Chief Scientist Report MC Action Items 2011-08-22/04B (Vilas, 2012-03-27): Provide DNs with a rationale for prioritizing PDS3 data set migration to PDS4 (or not).  2011-08-22/04A (DNs): Provide Vilas with prioritized lists of PDS3 data sets for migration (not all of which need to be migrated).  2011-08-22/03 (Vilas): Develop a PDS3 to PDS4 migration plan so that DN activities are coordinated and PDS3 data sets are prioritized.

  3. PDS Chief Scientist Report I. What will work for one node will NOT work for another

  4. PDS Chief Scientist Report I. What will work for one node will NOT work for another II. For nodes with large volumetric data, storage is an issue

  5. PDS Chief Scientist Report I. What will work for one node will NOT work for another II. For nodes with large volumetric data, storage is an issue III. For nodes with extensive data, there is no money to cover costs of migration

  6. PDS Chief Scientist Report I. What will work for one node will NOT work for another II. For nodes with large volumetric data, storage is an issue III. For nodes with extensive data, there is no money to cover costs of migration IV. Some nodes have expressed interest in coordinating data

For nodes with extensive data, there is no money to cover costs of migration IV. Some nodes have expressed interest in coordinating data V. How educate and engage the planetary sciences community in the ingestion into and use of PDS4 data?
