  1. On Australia Day we ask why do we not see the Eureka flag with the southern cross flying alongside the national and aboriginal flags? We today pay homage to those of Eureka who did change the government dictators, if only for a brief period, and pray that the current dictators of Australia wakeup that history has a way of repeating itself – that we do not wish to see in Australia again. It is 156 years since the beset Australian people rose against the government in Ballarat Victoria from behind the walls of the “EUREKA STOCKADE” On December 3rd 1854 in the name of liberty the later fight against this oppression and corruption of dictatorial Australian government, 22 diggers were killed, 12 wounded, and 6 army troupers died. This part of Australian history is dismissed by present day government who mirror daily settings of people control and oppression that started “Eureka”. As you read our coverage of this despicable part of Australian history where government and officials forced the miners and families into a corner leaving no choice of the people other than to rebel, reflects the corner all governments today are mustering the people into is now a time bomb.

  2. The Battle of the Eureka Stockade took place in 1854. It occurred in the early hours of Sunday, 3 December. This is often called the birth of Australian democracy.

  3. The Eureka stockade Battle occurred in the earliest years of Australia. The place where the battle started in Ballarat, Victoria. The Stockade started at 3:00am on Sunday, 3rd December in 1854.

  4. I think that the Australian gold rush made a huge difference to Australia giving them more money good education more and more immigrants are coming to the country.

  5. Thank You!!!
