  4. Belgian Building Research Institute (1...)Division for Building Physics & Indoor Climate • Applied scientific research and information institute for the Belgian construction sector. The BBRI is set up in 1960 and is at the disposal of construction companies, the industry, designers and authorities. The institute has 163 staff members, among which 85 engineers. • The Division for Building Physics & Indoor Climate comprises two laboratories: Acoustics and Hygrothermics and Indoor Climate, with 7 researchers and 5 technicians.   10. Delft University of Technology (2|) • An important part of its research is focused on the analysis of the thermal behaviour of buildings and indoor climate installations. Considerable experience and knowledge is available on the control of natural ventilation and HVAC installations in buildings. • Recently a predictive control system has been developed to improve the efficiency of BEM Systems. • In the framework of Natvent, a design tool for the use of night cooling with natural ventilation in office buildings, intended for architects and engineers, is developed. Two prototypes of night cooling systems were build.
