Dr. Jim Goodnight Graduate School at North Carolina State University (NCSU) in Raleigh, North Carolina Earned a Ph.D. in statistics from NCSU in 1971 Started by writing a software program to analyze agricultural data . Demand for his statistical analysis system had grown so strong that he decided to dedicate himself full time to developing his product and serving his rapidly expanding customer base.
