  3. Surface and Atmosphere • Atmosphere is hydrogen and helium. • Surface not solid inside gas but very hot even though it is so far from sun

  4. Temperature and Diameter • Temperature is -218 Celsius average -200 Celsius • diameter is 2,941,431,558 square miles • Neptune is one of the biggest planets

Moons and Sun Distance • Neptune has 13 moons named Naiad Thallassa Despina Galetea Larissa Proteus Triton Nereid Halemede Sao Laomede Psmathe and Neso. • One of the moons triton is the only large moon that circles the planet in the opposite direction of the planets rotation. • Neptune is 2,798,000,000 miles from the sun
