  2. Geography in General • Tajikistan is very mountainous. • 90% of it is mountains. • There are many glaciers in these mountains. • Tajikistan is prone to earthquakes and floods. • Mountainous terrain means not very fertile land.

  3. Climate • Tajikistan is a very wet country. • Only a few areas in Tajikistan are deserts. • This rain contributes greatly to the rivers in Tajikistan. • This could help our entrepreneur given that rain is needed for farming.

  4. Natural Resources • Tajikistan has a lot of water. • It is also rich in natural minerals such as gold. • However, Tajikistan is not very fertile. • The water could help with irrigation.

Location and Landmarks • Tajikistan is in the Middle East, west of China and north of Afghanistan. • Tajikistan contains the Pamir and Alay mountain ranges. • Tajikistan also has the Amu and Syr Darya, the main rivers of central Asia. • The water will help but our entrepreneur still needs fertilizer.
