  2. Lots of people, including the author of the Sherlock Holmes mysteries, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, thought they were real! In 1917, Elsie Wright and Frances Griffiths told the world that they had taken five photos of fairies.

  3. Nowadays we regularly see images, of celebrities and models, which have been manipulated in photo editing software to make them look different So are the images we see in the media genuine?

  4. 1) If you’re working with digital images, you’ll need to understand how and why images are manipulated using photo editing software. 2) It’s important to be aware that in real life, a lot of celebrities don’t really look much like their photos that you see in magazines. Why’s it so important?

In this unit you will learn how to… …save your image in an appropriate format for your client …plan the production of a graphic image to a client brief …present your final produced piece, in a suitable medium, to your client …evaluate your image and gain feedback on it …source graphics and alter them so that they best meet the needs of your project …change or combine images to convey a message
