Project Started 12/12/01 Announced in San Francisco, CA, October 1, 2002 IBM and SeniorNet today announced the nationwide launch of a new innovative technology that will make the Web more accessible by allowing users to reformat Web pages according to their individual user preferences. This technology allows users to improve their Web experience by enhancing the readability of Web pages, making the browser easier to use, reading text out loud, and even making the keyboard easier to use. The initiative represents the next step in SeniorNet and IBM's multi-year partnership to make the Web accessible to more and more people.
