  4. Students can only use materials provided in the packet Students compare final products to see how their peers interpreted instructions and discuss differences

  5. Information Fluency Interpreting Information

  6. Students will plan a trip to Paris Bon Voyage!

  7. Students research what they want to see and learn in Paris…..

  8. Students create an itinerary Including airfare, daily activities, and cost for food They will then present their trip to class using media such as video& pictures

  9. Collaboration Fluency Working Together

  10. The French School System American students will interview students from France about their school experiences

  11. French students will respond using Voice Thread Students will use Voice Thread to record their questions

  12. Students will write a report of the similarities and differences… …between the schools in the USA and France and share with the class

  13. Creativity Fluency Artistic

  14. Let’s SEE what we HEAR! (in French) Students choose something to describe using color, size, & shape vocabulary They record their description in an audio file Students from France listen to the description and draw what they hear being described by the American students The French students upload their drawings into Voice Thread and describe how they interpreted the description The American students view the drawing on Voice Thread and upload the original picture they described so the French students can see Ahhoui, je vois!

  15. Media Fluency Creating Digital Products

  16. Students will create a skit using health vocabulary & expressions about being sick J’ai mal à la tête! Aie, J’ai mal au ventre! Express Yourself

  17. Students will then video tape the skit and show to the class As a class we will discuss symptoms and possible illnesses of each skit

  18. Digital Citizen Be Who You Are

  19. Consistency Portray yourself online as the same person you are face-to-face

  20. In a digital world it is important to be truthful Be the same person you are online as the person you are offline
