Legacy of New Left for Left and Right • How linked to the counter culture? Intertwined over necessity of individual change and had similar limitations • What happened to Sixties activists and their goals? Some reconnected to Dem Party, some organized social movements of ’70s, some joined “helping professions,” some “sold out”
