OCI Overview Promoting a Healthy Nuclear Industry • OCI is an industry association representing 190 private sector suppliers of products and services to the Canadian and offshore nuclear industries. • OCI Strategic Priorities: • Support OCI members in offshore markets • Build political/public support for nuclear in Ontario • Support OCI members on domestic projects/services

Domestic Markets • Darlington and Bruce Refurbishment • $20B over 10 years • OPG and Bruce Power consolidating supply chains • Darlington Refurbishment Project Model • Seven “Project Bundles” • Each “Bundle” managed by EPC model (Engineer Procure, Construct) • Smaller Durham companies need to be qualified by one of the seven Tier One EPCs • OCI can assist Durham companies in making connections and acquiring qualifications

Leverage Marketing Resources • OCI has engaged DFATD’s “Global Opportunities for Associations (GOA)” Program • Pickering – July 25, 2014 - “MP Erin O’Toole, representative for Durham region, announced $90,000.00 of federal grant funding to the Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCI). This funding is from the federal government’s Global Opportunities for Associations (GOA) program. The program offers matching funds to national associations undertaking new or expanded international business development activities in strategic markets or sectors.”
