  1. Complete Guide to Some of the Most Impressive Snorkel Sites in Sydney Sydney is home to some of the most incredible snorkelling sites in Australia. We will guide you to some of our favourite spots where you can enjoy snorkelling at any time of the year: Palm Beach is one of Sydney’s most northern points. To get started you can head down to the south of Palm Beach and swim out over the shallow rock post. Keep an eye on some interesting rock formation for some native wildlife like cuttlefish and octopus. The entire site is very shallow and it is home to a very enormous population of stingrays.

The entire site is no more than two to three meters deep and is home to one of Sydney’s largest seahorse populations. Make sure you have a look around the pylons and along the sand for some hidden octopus and some of the other unique species that call Clifton Gardens home. Travelling South across the Harbour Bridge you have the Clavelli. Clavelli is Sydneys one of the most beginner-friendly snorkeling sites and promises a range of fish like clear water and several other resident blue gropers.
