  2. RECOUPMENT OF SRB, SDAP, AND ENLISTMENT BONUS. • IT IS PARAMOUNT TO ALWAYS INVESTIGATE AND START RECOUPMENT PROCEDURES. FOR EVERY RECOUPMENT THAT IS NOT DONE, PREVENTS OTHER SAILORS FROM RECEIVING A SRB. • OVER THE LAST YEAR MORE THAN 7 MILLION DOLLARS AND 360 MEMBERS WERE NOT PROPERLY RECOUPED BY THE FLEET. INVESTIGATING MORE THAN 350 MORE POSSIBLE CASES. • Recoupments are the responsibility of the command. • If a member loses the ability to maintain a SRB or Enlistment Bonuses the command must contact the PSD to determine the amount to recouped

Some of the reasons that will cause recoupment. • Medical Disqual • Lose of NEC • Lose of Rate • Lose of Security Clearance • Lose of Submarine Qualifications. • It does not matter what the reasons (Even Medical), the PSD should determine if recoupment should happen. • Requests for waivers of recoupment are sent directly to SECNAV not the NPC SRB desk or OPNAV.

  4. When recouping Enlistment bonuses the extension time required as part of the contract to receive the bonus must be used to determine recoupment. The member must complete the 4 year reenlistment plus any required extension time to maintain eligibility to the entire bonus. • SDAP Recert NAVADMIN is out!
