  2. SNF & HLW Cost Data Need • To better understand SNF and HLW Programs • Improve ability to compare costs across sites • Analyze budget submittals • Respond to questions from external organization about SNF & HLW program costs

Cost Template Elements • Facility Surveillance and Maintenance • Facility Operations (includes offsite receipts, intra-basin handling, onsite transfers, offsite shipments) • Facility upgrades (Non-line item projects and GPP projects) • Line Item projects (Identified individually) • Management and Analysis • Other

  4. Management & Analysis • Management and analysis includes all contractor cost associated with the field office oversight of SNF and HLW program, cost of EVMS and Project Control System, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Quality Assurance, Value Engineering and Tradeoff Studies, Performance Based Incentives, and Acquisition Strategy. In Addition, the cost of reviews and assessment is included.

  5. Instructions • Use approved baseline or FY 2006 budget (If baselines are not approved) • Include impacts of submitted or approved change proposals, if not incorporated in baseline • Use current year dollars • Provide actual costs thru FY 05, cost by year FY 2006-10, cost summation for FY 11-35, total life cycle costs • Use other category for costs not associated with template elements
