Unit Four Groups – Discussion Board Hydropower Nuclear Natural Gas Oil Solar Wind BioEnergy Coal Geothermal Hydrogen Hopefully, by now you’ve collaborated and divided up the work. Thurs – Sat: Each group member should be making a separate post about some aspect of his/her energy source - being careful never to repeat! Sat – Mon: During this period, you should comment on other groups’ energy sources, & how suitable you think they may be for Kaplanville. Mon & Tues: By this time, you should vote for the energy source you think is BEST and explain your vote.
Unit 4 Assignment: • The map for questions 1 and 2 shows the acceleration in % g (the percent of the force of gravity) with a 10 % probability of happening in the next 50 years. So when you see an area in CA labeled 64+ it means that there is a 10% chance that there will be an earthquake in the next 50 years with an acceleration of 64+ % the force of gravity or 64+% of g. • Provide a full discussion in your answers. • Do not submit the assignment as a Q&A list. Submit it as a cohesive essay that addresses all 9 questions fully. • Cite all sources used in the text of your essay as you use them and provide a list of all references at the end of the project.
