2. Bill of rights • The bill of rights is the first ten amendments of the constitution. • Establishes basic rights 4 people • James Madison was the one who proposed the bill of rights

3. Freedom of speech • I can say whatever I want!!!!!!!!!!!! • Freedom of speech is the right to speak without censorship or limitation • Also called freedom of expression :D METALLICA ROX!!!!!!

4. The right to bear arms • The right to bear arms is the right to have weapons • You must keep guns safe and unloaded • Can only shoot guns in certified, safe areas • Yes, even Obama can bear arms (secr3tly)

5. Articles of confederation The articles of confederation was ratified in March of 1781 • It was weak • It only had one branch of government weak & bad!!!

Executive branch • The executive branch is the branch that the president is in • Barack Obama is in the executive branch • Commander in chief, head of state, chief of staff, chief executive, and chief legislator are all the rolls that the executive branch has to do.  • President can declare war  BOOM!!!

7. Judicial branch • The judicial branch applies laws • The judicial branch ensures equal justice under law • This branch has da supreme court. • The supreme court is the highest court in the united states

8. The legislative branch • Legislatures are also known as the parliament or the congress • They make laws • They also vote on bills • There are 100 members of the legislature

9. James Madison • James was born on march 16, 1751 • He died on June 28, 1836 • He wrote over a third of the federalist papers • He wrote it with Alexander Hamilton and Thomas Jefferson

10. The federalist papers • James Madison, Alexander Hamilton, and Thomas Jefferson. • They used pen names • Everyone knew who they were though. lol
