DB-MACC Project Won N62472-10-D-1308-0001, FY10 MCON P-528, Torpedo Exercise Support Buildings & FY10 MCON P-465 Consolidated Submarine Learning Center (SLC Training & Commander Submarine Squadron (CSS) 15 Headquarters Facility, Polaris Point, Guam Design build new construction of a concrete/masonry framed torpedo exercise support facility, and consolidated submarine learning center and headquarters facility. Award Amount: $23,405,000 Award Date: 10 May 2010 Completion Date: 30 December 2011

  5. The pipeline for the near future? • $2.3B Mamizu (Japan funded) MACC w/ $300M civil seed project • Some Commercial work • Multiple large projects in the MACCs • Future MACCs in 2013

Is the level of work able to be handled without support on island? • 2010 awards - $500M+ • 2010 awards - $680M+ but not approved yet • 7 awardees for DB MACC • 7 to be selected for Mamizu MACC • 6 for SB DB MACC & 6 for 8a MACC • No shortage of competitors • Most work to be included in MACC contracts • Subcontracting pool thin but growing. • NAVFAC SB requirement are stringent

  8. Is the level of work able to be handled without support on island? • Labor – local, Micronesia, US, Philippines • dck has large NZ employee base from Fletcher Pacific days • Competition is stiff • Major Opportunities are mostly end of 2011 and beyond
