Setting Parameters • CAC should work with the EHR team to setup the EHR parameters…. • The BEHOMENU can be used to set up many of the parameters • General Parameter tools – necessary for the CAC to have this menu to view how parameters are setup

Important Parameters - TIU TIU FIELD EDITOR CLASSES: 0 or 1 or 2 Setup who can make template fields Should be setup for CACs/HIM at system TIU PERSONAL TEMPLATE ACCESS: 0 or 1 or 2 who can make templates in “My Templates” TIU TEMPLATE ACCESS BY CLASS: 0 or 1 or 2 These two allow personal templates Can restrict personal templates TIU TEMPLATE REMINDER DIALOGS • Which reminder dialogs can be used in TIU templates OPTIONS:0 FULL ACCESS 1 READ ONLY 2 NO ACCESS

CIA Parameters - Visit • BEHOENCX CREATE VISIT – who can make a visit • BEHOENCX PROVIDER – who can be a provider for a visit These two parameters need to be set up prior to using EHR. They control who can create a visit and who can be a provider. These are usually set at the USER CLASS LEVEL.
