Information to help you during a live eAuction • Prior to bidding, verify your pre-bids in the bidding window, if you have submitted them to Novartis, and plan your bidding strategy accordingly. • Use "Message" - "Create" functionality which appears at the bottom of the bidding screen in Emptoris for any query and they will be answered in real-time. • Please turn on "Auto Refresh" button (check the box), which is next to "Create" button in “Messages” screen so that the bidding window refreshes automatically whenever your ranking fluctuates, optionally you can press "F5" on your keyboard. • The lowest price or leading bid, belongs to the Rank No.1 • If you bid during the last two minutes during an eAuction, the seconds you lose while bidding during the last two minutes get extended. • If you place any wrong bid, please call your eAuction technical contact immediately so that it can be deleted and you can re-enter the correct bid. While we delete the bid for any bidder, the eAuction will be paused and you will not be able to bid during the "Pause" stage. • Please upload your final bids in an attachment in the "RFx Attachments" link if so requested.
