  1. (o& How to find Titoki Welcome to Titoki. If you are travelling from Tauranga take highway 2. After passing the Whakatane Airport road turn left at the tee junction . Travel only 50 meters then turn right into Paroa Road. Travel 4kms and turn into Station Road. Then go 2kms and turn into Titoki Road. From Rotorua: Take SH 30. Travel to Awakeri. Go past the Shell Service station for 200m. Take the Gisbourne turnoff, SH2 on your right. Then turn into Station Road on your left. Titoki road will appear on your right. From Gisborne: Go through Whakatane and cross the bridge. 3kms from the end of the bridge turn left into Paroa Road. Travel 4kms and turn into Station Road. Then go 2kms and turn into Titoki Road. Titoki is an ideal place to take time out for any reason. Someone to talk to or counselling is available on request. Guests may, if they choose, join the 10am Wednesday morning chapel service held in the chapel. (Attendance is optional for guests) Titoki Retreat Centre A schedule of current charges is enclosed.   2. Titoki Retreat Centre is a well equipped and spacious offering time-out, and seminar facilities. It is set on ten acres of parkland ten minutes out of Whakatane and five minutes from Awakeri Hot Springs. It is wheel chair and disabled friendly. The Centre consists of a large homestead with spacious dining rooms, commercial style kitchen, and two lounges. There are 10 bedrooms, 5 with ensuite facilities with a choice of double, single or twin sharing rooms all at motel standard. There is also a stand alone motel, cottage and chapel. All this with sumptuous meals served in our grand family dinning room. Over the past three decades Titoki has hosted thousands of people, representing many groups and individuals who have come for quality rest, respite care, and where needed counselling. All this takes place in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. The dining room can seat up to 36 people in comfort and provides top quality meals in an atmosphere of friendship and fun. Guests are asked when they book if there are any special dietary requirements as these are catered for. For anyone needing time out for a retreat, refreshment and relaxation there is a stand alone motel and cottage available. There is plenty to see. Whakatane set on the mouth of the Whakatane river, Ohope, Matata, Thornton, Awakeri Hot Springs, Rotorua, Tauranga , Kawerau and Opotiki are a scenic drive away from the Centre. Guests who come by bus or the planes that fly into Whakatane air port are picked up and transported to the Centre Take a look at our website www.titoki.org.nz for more pictures and information.
