By Blake Irysh, Evan Espinoza, Samantha Garrett, and Ty Jones Survival of tarantula
Equipment The equipment we used was a labpro, 2 stainless steel thermometers, battery powered light, 2 iphones, stopwatch, laptop, 300ft of tether, flash drive, clinometer, gondola, and tarantula
Expectations • Hypothesis A: The battery powered light will keep the tarantula warm enough inside the gondola to be comfortable. • Hypothesis B: The battery powered light will not keep the temperature warm enough for the tarantula to be fully comfortable.
Results • THE TARANTULA LIVED!!! However, hypothesis B was correct, but the inside stayed somewhat constant through the experiment.
Conclusion Next time we will change things. Thank you for listening; thank you to our mentors and Ms. B
