4. Release Quiz Brochure was distributed in Raj Bhawan. In the very First Year 103496 students from 636 schools from Tamilnadu and Kerala participated in this Quiz Competition.

5. Stage 1 of the quiz is a written round conducted in participating Schools involving all students. 9 or more Students from each school are selected for participation in District Level. Top School of each District participates in the final round.

6. Awards and Rewards Stage - I • Every participant of this quiz will receive a participation certificate with detailed analysis of his / her scientific quotient. All students with score 7 and above will receive a special Certificate. Top ranking students will receive Diamond and Gold certificates. Top 3 students in each grade from each school will receive Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals subject to minimum of 100 student’s participation in each Grade. Stage – II • On the basis of net points accumulated by the participants, the Top 3 best Performing Schools from each district will be eligible for a Cash Prize of Rs. 10,000/-, Rs. 5,000/- and Rs. 3,000/- respectively along with a Gold / Silver / Bronze Trophy. Stage - III • Three Schools which are adjudged the best in the State will receive Diamond, Gold and Silver trophies respectively. In • addition to these trophies the 3 best schools will also be awarded a Cash Award of Rs. 1,00,000/-, Rs. 50,000/- and • Rs. 25,000/- respectively. All Schools and participants at the State Level will receive a Participation Cup.
