Extracting the background data: Combined average used as basis for groupings • Starting point - Raise report – Prior attainment of pupils at KS2 (Prior KS2) table 3.1.1 (page 14). • Average Points score at KS1 Sequential sorting (high to low APS) for groupings on basis of entry average
Overview of table elements: • Rankings based on KS2 Level 4+ RWM combined score: • Quadrant rank within group • Essex rank within group Colour coding: Red – if performance in bottom 25% of Essex schools Green – if performance in top 25% of Essex schools
