  1. Press the Start button, right click on My Computer, and select Map Network Drive…

  2. Any unmapped drive letter from M: - Z: \\cobweb\public\csc\sbradley\Downloads\mcafee

  3. If this dialog box appears, enter the user name name labuser and press OK; labuser has no password. (The box should not appear if you logged in to Windows XP with a valid network user name and password. )

  4. The result should be the appearance of this window. Note the file ipc.bat. Double click on ipc.bat to run it. A window should open and immediately close, producing the file C:\ipconfig.txt.

  5. Open the C: drive from My Computer in the Start Menu. At this point, it would be convenient to have your mail client open (Eudora, Outlook, Netscape Mail, etc.) Right click on ipconfig.txt, select Send To, then select Mail Recipient. A mail composition window should open. Send the attached file to: srb@cs.sfasu.edu.
