  1. Office Proposal Josh Kelly’s Squash and Jellies

  2. Josh Kelly’s Squash and jellies is a non-profit organization in which we supply squash and jelly to those in need. I am currently in need of staff and office space for my organization.

  3. Situation • My current workplace is my basement. • So far my fundraising was quite successful which is shown in my database. • If my situation stayed the same I wouldn’t be able to enter all of the data and I wouldn’t be able to be out in the community. • I would like more staff to allow me to get out of the office and work more in the community, and an office to allow my staff to not have to work in my basement and for my staff and myself to be closer to where we work in the community.

  4. Actions • Rent an office in town. • Get a (MOV) Mobile Office Vehicle. • Find people willing to work just to see the smiles on everyone’s faces who we have served with our squash and jellies. • If that doesn’t work, hire a staff of at least 2 people that are paid $10.00 an hour. • I could also stay in my current situation, but I would not have enough room or people to enter data and get into the community.

  5. Recommend • Leasing an office at Riverhills Commons in Somerset. I think I should do that because it’s a good deal, it’s in my community, and it gives just enough space for a staff. I chose this over getting a (MOV) because they are expensive, don’t have much space, and are mostly meant for travel. We will basically stay around one area and we won’t be in traffic much so it wouldn’t be necessary to get one. • Searching for people willing to work for free and then search for people willing to work for $10.00 an hour. I think this would be a good idea because we need help, so we might as well try to find free help. Otherwise ten dollars an hour seems like a good price.

  6. Office • Riverhills Commons in Somerset; space 400 • $1,110 monthly for 1,332 SF • 2 months it will cost $2,220

  7. Staff • $10 an hour • 8 hours a day • 5 days a week • Total price: $3,200 for 2 peopleafter 2 months

  8. Implements • Post adds around town and on our website saying my website saying I need help. • Rent an office from Riverhills Commons in Somerset. Space 400

  9. Evaluate • Solve problem • Staff could handle most of the data entering while I work in community • Office is in community so I wouldn’t have to travel far. I would need a total of $5,420 for office and staff. If I make at least $8,000 in the next 2 months, I would love it if you continued to fund my cause.

  10. I would greatly appreciate it if you considered funding this cause. An office and staff would be a necessity to keeping my business running. Please help the cause of supplying squash and jelly to those who are in need. Thank you for listening.
