The website is a source of information and search engine optimisation about the vision and activities of the NYSP and a place where partners promote their activities through advertising. </p> <p>The role of the NYSP is to promote the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of North Yorkshire&rsquo;s communities. To achieve this it takes as its focus the Sustainable Community Strategy for North Yorkshire 2008/18 and the linked Local Area Agreement 2008/11 , which set out key priorities and targets to achieve the vision of making North Yorkshire an even better place in which to live, work and visit.</p> <div style="text-align: center;"> </div> <h2 id="voluntary-sector-involvement">Voluntary Sector Involvement</h2> <p>The Local Area Agreement (LAA) must include a statement of the involvement of the Voluntary Community Sector (VCS) and local people in the design and delivery of the agreement. This should state how local people and the VCS have been informed, consulted and given the opportunity to participate in the LAA process and the delivery of outcomes.</p> <p>It should also state how partners have considered the capacity of the VCS to contribute effectively, and how they can best facilitate the involvement of local people such as the installation of an easy to use <a href="http://www.able-systems.com/portable-printers">mobile ticket printer</a> in the community hall. The involvement of the VCS and local people should be reflected in all the four LAA blocks.
