  2. So, what we have done this year? • The Eco Warriors (Clayton, Jessica & Tiegan) organised and carried out Eco Committee interviews. • We chose our three topics (litter, energy and transport) to focus on after looking at the Environmental Review carried out by P7. • We made action plans. • We had a One Planet Picnic in September • In November we ran the Switch Off Fortnight campaign and lots and lots of families made pledges. • The JRSO’s ran the Park Smart campaign with the help of the Eco Warriors. • We encouraged everyone to send one Christmas card to reduce the amount of card/paper used. • In January the nursery brought in Christmas cards to be reused and recycled. • The plastic bottle greenhouse was built!!

  3. We took part in Earth Hour in March. • Olivia, Ollie & Carys have been on a litter free school mission all year • Every class has (or soon will) have a turn with the litter pickers. • We collected a small mountain of things for the Rag Bag collection. • The Eco Committee have tried to meet on Mondays during Citizenship Gathering (but we need to meet more this term). • JRSO’s have started & we need to continue WOW – walk on Wednesday • Walk to school week coming soon!! • The Eco Monday Mingle group have introduced the new purple bins and made short videos to promote them. We hope you enjoy them 

  4. What do we need to do next? • The Eco Committee will meet on Monday to review what is left to do on the Action Plans. • The Eco Committee are going to take part in ‘Farm to Fork’ on the 12th May at Tesco. • We are going to organise a Community Litter Pick during our community focus at the end of term. • The current Eco Committee need to decide and organise elections for the new Eco Warriors for the start of the new school year in August. • And last but definitely not least... submitting the application form for our 4th Green Flag!!
