So, the teachers needed today are different: More the managers and facilitators of learning E-confident E-effective E-efficentsystem Confident in the classroom use of technology Informed purchasers of tools for teaching Professional collaborators with their peers Effective interpreters of assessment data Up for real-time parental communication

  12. ...and so is the training they need: Knowing and using the technology 21st Century Teachers Keeping abreast of what is to come Technical collaboration with peers Interpreting and using data effectively Choosing resources to personalise learning Coping with real-time reporting

  13. Harnessing the Industry • Invite them in • Software licence for training institutions • Use their events • Collaborate on ICT action research • Work with the industry on submissions to Government • Offer product development testing
