WG 6 and Support Activities Overview Status Report

Source Code Administration (II) LM 3.21: (Work is in progress) Consolidation of CLM Consolidation of FLake Consolidation of Runge-Kutta and LMK Preparation of Ensemble Mode Technical changes (I/O) and bug corrections INT2LM: After finishing work on LM, a new version of INT2LM has to be implemented (extensions from CLM, LMK, …) 8th General COSMO Meeting --- Bucharest, Romania

  6. Source Code Administration (III) Work on implementing and testing new features includes investigation of portability and optimization of the codes (is related to WP 6.1.2). Because there were only few versions, not much time was spent for testing. In the future there will be a more fine grain testing to have a better evaluation of the single changes. 8th General COSMO Meeting --- Bucharest, Romania

Web Page Administration The Contents Manager: There was a commitment by Romania for the Contents Manager But this task could not be fulfilled Therefore we have a problem with the Web, which contains too much out-dated material We have to start a concentrated action in the next 2-3 months to update at least the public pages 8th General COSMO Meeting --- Bucharest, Romania

  8. Web Page Administration (II) The Web Master: Several mailing lists have been installed Exchanged mails are archived and indexed A search engine has been installed Policy of using the new features has to be discussed 8th General COSMO Meeting --- Bucharest, Romania

Newsletter The 6th COSMO Newsletter was published late and only as Proceedings from the 7th General Meeting Since Priority Projects should aim at having a publication as deliverable (reviewed or as Technical Report), only (extended) abstracts (with references) should occur in the Newsletter The format of the Newsletter could be different again. 8th General COSMO Meeting --- Bucharest, Romania

  12. Technical Reports Only one Technical Report could be published last year: „Operational Implementation of the Multilayer Soil Model“ (by Erdmann Heise, et.al.) There will hopefully be more reports in the near future. 8th General COSMO Meeting --- Bucharest, Romania
