  3. When Mission was Built (Founded) • This mission was built on Jan.12,1777. The old mission was near the Guadalupe river and the newer mission is on the university of Santa Clara. Mission Santa Clara was the 8th mission in California founded.

  4. Mission Site Its old mission was near the Guadalupe river but it got transferred to the university of Santa Clara. Santa Cara de Aisis is located on the southern end of San Francisco bay.

  5. Father Junipero Serra • Father Junipero Serra wasn’t the only person to make a California mission. He was born in the Kingdom of Spain.

  6. Founder of Mission • The founder of my mission is father Junipero Serra. . He died at the mission San Carlos Borromeo.

  7. Mission Layout and Bell Tower

  8. Agriculture and Livestock • They used cactus juice to paint the walls. The orchards and gardens that ounce were so green and became brown and dry.

  9. Indians Joining this Mission • They helped make this mission. They also helped make the adobe bricks to make the mission strong . They were 3 Indians working on the mission.

  10. Population • The population of this mission is about 6,227 priest and Indians put together.

  11. Significant Events • The mission got in a fire so they had to transfer to the university Santa Clara. ( on campus).

  12. Current Use of the Mission • Its current use is a church. It also could be used as a consernt venue.

  13. What I Liked Best • I liked best, is that it had 4 bells with only one bell tower.
