Beryllium. The Dangers of beryllium. Beryllium is not the the safest mineral. It causes very harmful decease called Beryllious . Beryllious affects the heart and 20 % of all causes people die because of breathing in beryllium. It also damages the heart and organs . Color / luster / streak.

  2. The Dangers of beryllium Beryllium is not the the safest mineral. It causes very harmful decease called • Beryllious. Beryllious affects the heart and 20 % of all causes people die because of breathing in beryllium. It also damages the heart and organs

  3. Color / luster / streak • color : the color of beryllium is usually steel gray • Luster : the Luster is mostly metallic luster • Streak : the streak of beryllium is white

  4. Hardness • On the mohs hardness scale beryllium is a 5.5 right in the middle. Right above is apatite and right below Feldbar. Some other minerals that are a 5.5 is molybdenum, and hafnium.

  5. Where is beryllium found • Beryllium was first found in France then it was found in California. That’s where it mostly appears though. Abbé René-Just Hauy in 1798 was the first to find beryllium.
