  1. The Sarcoma Data Portal: Making High Content Sarcoma Datasets Available For All Users Jonathan Keats, PhD Translation Genomics Research Institute

  2. Outline • Some examples of other systems • Outline of the initial concepts for the Sarcoma Portal

  3. Myeloma Cell Line Portal - Query This project includes matched CGH, exome sequencing and RNA sequencing

  4. Myeloma Cell Line Portal - Mutations

  5. Myeloma Cell Line Portal - Expression

  6. Multiple Myeloma Genomics Portal This supports a diverse collection of multiple datasets on multiple platforms

  7. Multiple Myeloma Researcher Gateway

  8. Sarcoma Portal • Initial phase to focus on existing gene expression profiling datasets from large (>20) patient studies. • Preference for studies with overall survival or progression free survival • The central design philosophy is to provide users with an easy way to interrogate datasets

  9. Proposed General Layout

  10. Kaplan-Meier Generation • Single Gene or Multiple Gene Analysis • Subset or Group Analysis • Multiple plot formats • Barplots (individual sample) • Box plots or dot plots (groups) • Histograms (dataset) • Kaplan-Meier (between groups) • Publication quality graphics • Experienced user recommendations

  11. Suggestions are Welcome • jkeats@tgen.org
