  2. Goals for the class • Prepare students for the FCAT • Prepare students for high school Algebra • All lessons are in support of at least one of these goals. • All lessons follow the suggested course sequence and are based on Sunshine State Standards.

  3. How your child can be successful • View the powerpoint presentations on the website. • Do the homework. • Use the Parent and Student Study Guide to work extra math problems with you. • Come to all of my study sessions throughout the year. • See me during lunch.

  4. Ways you can be involved • Check the website often. On the homework/classwork link, I post all the homework for each day as well as test dates and other important dates. • You and students can view the powerpoint lessons given in class to help with the homework under the powerpoint link. • Use the parent/student study guide. • Keep in contact with me.

  5. Contacting me • I check my email at least once a day. • Call the school and I will call you back as soon as I am able.
